About Recon Drone
Recon Drone is a small fan-made project. We build one thing: the RCD-01, a driveable remote-control replica of the two-wheeled recon drone, with working LED lights and a matte-black finish.
Our Story
The idea was simple. We wanted a replica that looks right on the shelf next to your setup and still drives when you pick up the controller. Everything we could find was a static prop, so we built our own.
Each RCD-01 pairs a 2.4GHz remote controller with twin treaded wheels. It drives forward and reverse, spins on the spot, and runs about 30-40 minutes per charge from its rechargeable battery over the included USB cable. The LED lights are the real thing. The lens is cosmetic only; there is no camera, and nothing records or transmits video.
Every unit is checked before shipping. Exact runtime figures are confirmed per production batch, and minor cosmetic variation between units is normal.
