The R6 Recon Drone, In Real Life
The RCD-01 is a remote control replica of the recon drone from Rainbow Six Siege, built for people who want it as a working RC vehicle rather than a static shelf prop. It drives forward and reverse, spins on the spot on twin treaded wheels, and its LED lights come on for every run, all from the 2.4GHz controller in the box.
A driveable replica, not a printed shell
Almost every R6 drone you can get hold of is a static model: a free STL from Printables or MakerWorld, or a printed prop from a marketplace seller. Those look right on a shelf and do nothing else. The wheels turn if you push them. The RCD-01 is the other kind: motors, a rechargeable battery, working lights, and a controller, so it does the thing you actually remember from the game. Print it or buy it, compared honestly.
Built to drive, anywhere indoors
Hard floors, wood, tile, concrete and short carpet are all fair game. The rechargeable battery runs roughly 30 to 40 minutes per charge and tops up over the included USB cable, so the drone is ready whenever you are. It is not water resistant, so keep it off wet ground. Full technical specs.
No camera. Cosmetic lens only.
The lens completes the silhouette and nothing more. The RCD-01 has no camera and does not record or transmit video. It is a ground RC toy rather than an aircraft, so there is no drone registration to do and no privacy question to answer. If you want to know what the real equivalents can do, the drone is based on real throwable recon robots.
